Wharves and Marine Structures
HEB Structures are experts in wharf construction and have built in excess of 20 wharves throughout New Zealand. Over 20 wharves have been constructed, repaired or rebuilt with values varying from $300,000 to $38,000,000. A consistently great reputation has lead to ongoing work with several Port companies and many projects negotiated to ensure a quick response.
HEB Structures maintains the Marine plant required to build almost any marine structure including, Workboats, Barges, Jack up Barge, Push boats, Cranes, Clamshells, Dredging equipment, temporary staging, environmental turbidity curtains, oil booms and Marina Piling technology. As well as owning the required equipment HEB Structures also maintain a stock of steel casings, sheetpile and structural steel to ensure a quick response to client requests.
In-house technical staff have a wealth of experience in different marine structure construction techniques and often provide innovative build methods to clients and designers.
Our most recent marine work undertaken includes Nelson wharf replacement ($3m), Ohau Channel training wall ($10m), Napier wharf No 4 replacement and extension ($38.5m).
Marinas
HEB Structures is the licensee in New Zealand for the SF Marina system and has undertaken design/build marinas at Picton & Havelock using this system.
SF Marina is a leading marina construction company based in Gothenburg Sweden with licensee's and operations throughout the world. The SF system has an innovative proprietary pontoon connection detail and is able to meet design/build requirements for all marina projects.
The pontoons can be manufactured in various sizes with floating breakwater pontoons up to 6m wide.
