The Brylee Reserve Wetland project is an Auckland Council project. It involved the conversion of an existing section of Brylee Reserve into a new wetland area that receives and treats motorway runoff passing through an existing culvert in the reserve. The reserve itself is located in Conifer Grove, Takanini and the project scope also comprised some naturalisation works and upgrades to public access ways and bridges. HEB Construction were engaged to construct the associated timber boardwalk and bridges that provide access through and around the wetland. A concrete culvert bridge protection slab with piled foundations was also constructed.
