The project involved construction of a third northbound lane on State Highway 1 (SH1) between the Upper Harbour Highway and Greville Road off-ramp intersection. The works also included the widening of the existing Rosedale bridge.

The roundabout on the western side was converted into a signal controlled junction with the southbound lane widening to the Albany Expressway and eastbound widening of Greville Road under SH1 at the Greville Interchange.

The eastern roundabout became a "tear-drop" arrangement with partial signalisation. The missing section of footpath on Greville Road was then completed.

This project was completed in 2015.
