HEB Landscapes are undertaking the landscaping portion of the contract on behalf of the Fulton Hogan and HEB Construction Alliance.

The project involves the large scale preparation of garden areas surrounding the new Tauranga Eastern Link motorway with the focus on enhancing the five intersections that feed the Road of National Significance.

Native species will propagate the road boundaries; 300,000 florae will be planted which include 2,500 specimen trees and large scale mulching to ensure the gardens remain healthy.

As an indication of scale, the Zone C noise bund area consists of 7 ha of mulching and 60,000 native plants and trees.

Following completion, HEB Landscapes will maintain the site for a two year period.
